NIRMAL HALOI COLLEGE, premier institution of higher education was established on 30th July 1979. The DEPARTMENT of ECONOMICS is one of the original department of N.H. College which was also established in 1979. Initially classes of H.S. level were held in Prachya Sangha named as Pragjyotish College. The department shifted to the present college area and subsequently to the east part of the college campus in 2003.
