i) N.H. College encourages a transparent admission procedure. Application form for admission into the college can be collected from the office during working hours to

ii) An attested copy of the mark sheet of the qualifying examinations must be enclosed with the application form.

iii) Admission into the college made strictly in order of merit and is governed by college authority. The principal's decision regarding admission is final.

iv) No pressure or interference from any quarter for the admission of a particular student shall be entertaine.

v) Eligible candidates have to produce at the time of interview and admission the following testimonials in original.

vi) Selection of candidates for admission in to B.A/B.COM is made in order of the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 final examination. Lists of eligible candidates are displayed on the college notice board at least three (3) days prior to admission.

vii) At the under graduate level, admission is open for two shifts- day shift and morning shift and at the H.S level admission is held for day shift alone.

viii) Reservation rules are followed as per Government directives.

ix) Seats of eligible candidates on the scheduled date shall be forfeited and adjusted from the candidates in the waiting list.

x) The college has a provision for reservation of seats as per Government of Assam rules:

xi) Interview of candidates will be held on date and time notified on the college notice board.
