Nirmal Haloi College hosted “Meet the Educationist”on 12/06/2026 at Digital Classroom AT 07 with "Munindra Narayan Goswami" as the resource person. In an engaging session with faculty of the college, he shared insights on modern education rooted in cultural values, his experience establishing educational institutions in Assam, and stressed that “Education is not merely the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” The interactive discussion focused on using education as a tool for social reform and critical thinking.

The “Entrepreneurship Development Conclave 4.0 and Bohagi Festival Celebration” was successfully organized at Nirmal Haloi College, Bajali, under the initiative of the NSS unit in collaboration with IQAC and the Students’ Union. The programme began with the hoisting of flags by Principal Dr. Kaushik Kumar Deka Sir and Vice Principal Dr. Jiten Kumar Bhagawati Sir, followed by inspiring addresses encouraging students to embrace entrepreneurship for nation-building. The conclave was inaugurated by former Vice Principal Kishore Kumar Sharma Sir, while Students’ Union President Hirak Jyoti Rajbongshi lit the ceremonial lamp.

The Green Campus Cell of Nirmal Haloi College, Patacharkuchi, successfully conducted an awareness programme focused on "Planet vs Plastics" to commemorate Earth Day 2026. The event commenced with an opening address by Suman Barman, Coordinator of the Green Campus Cell, who emphasized the importance of campus sustainability and environmental responsibility. Vice Principal Kishore Kumar Sarma as a resource person delivered the keynote address, providing a comprehensive overview of the "3R" framework—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. His lecture offered practical strategies for mitigating plastic waste within the institutional community. The programme concluded with closing remarks from the Principal Dr. Kaushik kumar Deka, reinforcing the college's ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship.

The IQAC, Nirmal Haloi College in collaboration with The Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) Assam Chapter hosted a one-day lecture on "Teaching Skills: Challenges of Teachers in 21st Century" on 2nd March, 2026 , the event featured Dr. Gitanjalee Bhuyan as the main speaker, who shared valuable insights on modern teaching methods.

Online NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme from 23 February – 03 March 2026. The programme featured 16 sessions with over 50 participants across the country engaging in themes such as holistic education, Indian Knowledge Systems, academic leadership, and skill development.

The District Health Society, Bajali, in collaboration with Nirmal Haloi College, Patacharkuchi, successfully organised the district-level launch of the 60-Day Intensified Campaign at the college premises today on 13th Aug, 2025. The programme aimed to raise awareness and mobilise the community towards the objectives of the campaign, with a special focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and education.
