Four of our students are participating in an educational tour to Nalanda, Bihar, scheduled from July 3rd to July 7th, 2025. This tour is organized by Vidya Bharati Uchcha Shiksha Sansthan, Assam Prant.

The District Health Society, Bajali, in collaboration with Nirmal Haloi College, Patacharkuchi, successfully organised the district-level launch of the 60-Day Intensified Campaign at the college premises today on 13th Aug, 2025. The programme aimed to raise awareness and mobilise the community towards the objectives of the campaign, with a special focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and education.

The resource person, Mr. Bhaskar Roy ( presently engaged in an RBI project and also working with NABARD), highlighted the importance of financial literacy. He discussed various schemes and services including the Atal Pension Yojana, Sukanya Samriddhi Account, RD, FD, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) Account and the benefits of RuPay Card.

As part of the 7th Edition Poshan Pakhwada, the NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of Nirmal Haloi College organized a program on April 23, 2025, at 630/2 No. Barsahan L.P.S., located in our adopted village. The event focused on the theme of growth monitoring and distribution of iron supplements to pregnant women.

Nirmal Haloi College took a pioneering step towards embracing digital education by inaugurating the Swayam and Infosys Springboard initiatives on March 20, 2025. Dr. Hemashree Duarah is the mentor of Swayam and Dr. Polly Rajkhowa is the Co-ordinator of Infosys Sprigboard.
